This is a fabulous capacity-building and community-building activity. As Festival participants, you will learn skills to sing in a choir: how to develop your musicianship, how to listen and blend with one another. You will learn singing technique that will increase your confidence in your own singing. You will be able to participate in workshops to learn how to share sing alongs with others and infuse your community life with music, you will learn how a group of people can quickly compose a song, for example in study circles, you will learn about the importance of music for our brains, souls and bodies, and lots more! We look forward to seeing you all again in September!

The Festival was simply one of the most uplifting and fulfilling experiences that I have ever had. ~ Moira D.
What an exhilarating experience this was. Just wanted to thank the both of you for the humble easy going and unifying approach you both brought with you. It was phenomenal. ~ Azita S.
As a participant, it was an awe-inspiring experience for me and while I am exhausted from the weekend, I am as high as a kite. I am on a spiritual high and I have a renewed “spring in my step” and it’s because of being immersed in singing these sacred verses in divine and inspired melodies for 4 days, so thank you! ~ Sima R.
I am still singing wherever I am. This was the most beautiful choir I have ever seen and been part of. It was an absolute honour to work with so many of you specially great conductors from different parts of the world and in such a spiritual environment. ~ Farshid S.
I cannot express my feeling of gratitude and thanksgiving for your initiation of the first Australian Choral Festival. I was always longing to sing in the Australia Temple; as when I was a youth singing in the Samoan Temple, it was singing and giving it all to His praise. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for this amazing journey. God willing, I will look forward to the next one. "Close your eyes to racial differences..." I had very high expectations of this experience, and these have been surpassed beyond belief. Though this pursuit was not a core activity, I have found this Festival to be entirely complementary to the efforts in the 5 Year Plan. Seeing, truly seeing, the unifying and spiritual impact of music on the souls in the choir and the audience of the concert has had a profound effect on me. I am left with a determination to incorporate arts into all my activities that they may be more uplifting, more spiritual, and more effective. The Festival has breathed new life and energy into my service activities, including the existing core activities I’m involved with in my community, as well as the fundamental Baha’i activities such as Feasts, Holy Days, and other meetings. I move forward with excitement to further engage in these activities, initiate more, and use music to open the hearts of all involved. In addition, I feel more connected with the Baha'i community across the country and internationally, and have made friendships that will undoubtedly last a lifetime. This was a blessing. I hope there will be many more opportunities for friends around the country and the world to partake of this blessing. Thank you. THANK YOU. ~ Alice G.
